This painting is of a garden in the Kitsilano area of Vancouver. For many years, I worked next to this garden and had a dear friend on this street. I always enjoyed this little garden as I walked by to and from work and my friend's house. I took a photo and painted it from the photo. It reminds me of a very happy time in my life and of several special friends. I am pleased that another dear friend purchased the painting and has it in her home.
