Did You Hear?

This is part of a series of umbrella paintings. One day while sitting on the beach in Puerto Vallarta, I was struck by two things: how beautiful the umbrellas were, and how their various positions could be used as a metaphor for feelings and relationships. This small group of umbrellas grouped and leaning together reminds me of a small group of people gossiping and is called Did You Hear?.
