Solitude Unavailable
This is part of a series of umbrella paintings. One day while sitting on the beach in Puerto Vallarta, I was struck by two things: how beautiful the umbrellas were, and how their various positions could be used as a metaphor for feelings and relationships. This view of two palapas on a stretched beach looking down from is called Solitude and is now part of a private art collection in Pennsylvania. |
